I'll be joining the Purpose and Goal Achievement (PGA) seminar after picking up my son, Stuart, from the Wild Animal Park in San Diego and after handing off our new puppy to my sweetie. I'm excited about this new version of the seminar I participated in way back before the turn of the century. People ask me, "How long does this stuff really work?" A Friend Has Passed On

Fran Cannon, I, and a few others involved with Cannon Training & Development have been involved with a worldwide entrepreneurial networking and business education group, Income Builders International. A local friend of ours who we met through IBI, Rachel Best, left us at noon on the 28th of March.

I just heard from Mary Carrillo that she, Fran, and others attended a traditional Jewish funeral at El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego at noon today.

Rachel was the only person over five years ago to notice that a life insurance career was not a good fit for me. Certainly she was the only one who said, "I don't get you and life insurance." Rachel cared about everyone reaching their potential and achieving their best life. She believed in God and she believed in people and their ability to improve and to love each other by helping each other.

Rachel created the Elka Best Foundation to help cancer patients receive distress-free care. Mary Carrillo just informed me that one of the big hospitals in Baltimore is using these kinder, gentler chemotherapy regimens.

The Dance of Business Success!

Not only can they dance...We went to Chili's Sunday night and about 90% of the graduates enjoyed conversation and great food before starting a brand new week with a brand new attitude!

I've already had some helpful conversations with graduates of The Great American Business Owner Seminar and I'm sure our networking will be more and more powerful and profitable. I'm enjoying being "in the room" again. I'm the music guy and it's great working with Jody, Louis, Mary and Fran.

There's some eye-opening stuff for these business owners when they really see that this business seminar is about more than business. Powerful lessons illustrate how much of their success is about who they are and whether or not they are open to change on a personal and professional level. Are they truly willing to do whatever it takes even if that means getting beyond generalizations and platitudes?
